Unlike large boarding facilities, we offer personalized care in a home-based setting, ensuring each pup gets plenty of playtime, socialization, and a cozy place to rest.

Safety is a priority, which is why no dog is ever taken off the property and each pup is carefully screened for compatibility with other dogs.

FAQs

What size dogs do you accept?

Small Dogs -- up to 39 pounds.

What measures do you have in place to make certain my pet is safe from escaping?

All dogs are crated every time the front door is open, or if I leave the house, even for a few minutes. Once the house is closed up, everyone is free to roam the downstairs of my large home. Always rest assured that your doggy cannot escape my care.

Where are you located?

Hackberry Creek is located in the heart of DFW, just 15 minutes North of the DFW Airport.

How many dogs do you typically have at one time?

The number of dogs I care for at one time varies, but I always prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized attention. Typically, I have 5-7 dogs at a time, depending on scheduling and each dog’s needs. This allows me to maintain a structured and enjoyable environment while ensuring every pup gets the care and supervision they deserve. If you have specific concerns about group size or compatibility, feel free to reach out!

How do you make sure all dogs will get along?

Each dog is required to have a meet & greet prior to their stay to ensure that they are well trained, well behaved, and compatible with other dogs. Because we value a safe and peaceful environment, all dogs must pass our behavioral screening before becoming a doggy guest! Miss Glenda is an expert at acclimating new dogs to the existing pack!

When can I pick up/drop off my dog?

I am available any day of the week between 8:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. for drop off & pick up!
